Morgan starred as a woman on the AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. The profits from this film were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She serves as a member on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan also led other fundraising projects and also gave testimony on a Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. She also serves as a Board of Directors for Amfar and the Board of Governors of APLA. The organization has asked her to take over the role of the former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at AIDS-related events. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented a AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline on AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be an Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. Morgan co-starred in ABC Television's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring along with Joan Rivers. This summer's premiere was Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The movie was created By Zerneck and Sertner and included Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. In her next role, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady together with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred in the thriller of psychological suspense which was produced exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the highest ratings ever recorded by the history of the network.
